Who knew that God could use me to make an impact in the world. My Compassion journey all started one summer day while I was surfing the web. I came upon a wonderful Christian organization called Compassion International. It’s a Christian Child Sponsorship Organization that releases children from poverty in Jesus’ name. I saw pictures of sad little children who need hope and Jesus in their lives. My heart just broke for these precious children. I felt God tugging on my heart to help. I decided to sponsor a beautiful little girl in Africa named Goodness. As I look back on that summer day, I am thankful to God for leading me to the Compassion website and to my best friend, Goodness.
